Antique Pattern Index

in progress....

The Antique Pattern Library has a huge catalog of antique, out-of-print patterns for every type of needlework.   These patterns are FREE!   Here we will be building a visual index for the Irish Crochet patterns.  The motifs, grounds, and other patterns will be categorized by type, and will show a small photo (from the APL) and the name of the item, and the pdf that you can find it in.  Our photos won't be to scale.  APL lists all of their pdfs alphabetically by book and author.  We won't link the pdfs directly as sometimes they are finicky to open from links.  Just go to the APL (linked above) and head to the book you need.

This helpful person has compiled a visual index as well, but it is by book instead.

Have just recently taken up Irish crochet after many years of embroidery. I am hoping to create a wearable garment from the motifs already completed. Nice to see a site dedicated to Irish crochet for all to join.
